I have a Doctorate degree in nursing practice (DNP) and 18 years of experience in healthcare, serving diverse populations from private practice to community clinics and hospitals, to correctional care with populations struggling with severe and persistent mental illnesses.

As your health practitioner, I believe in using supplements, lifestyle changes, meditation, prayer, weight management, and traditional psychotropic medications, as needed, to tailor your treatment to your unique needs and goals. I also believe in healing through faith and I welcome clients from ALL religious and spiritual backgrounds. My primary aim is to provide a supportive, warm, and trusting therapeutic environment where we build upon your personal strengths and attributes while implementing effective strategies to help you achieve your best health.

I stress the importance of nutrition, self-care, faith/spirituality, healthy environments, and other natural approaches to mental wellness and emotional well-being. Though I understand the importance of mind, body, emotions, and environment to health I do not negate the evidence that supports the use of FDA and highly studied medications such as Zoloft, Prozac, Abilify, etc. for the treatment of mental disorders. FDA-approved prescription medications are also part of our treatment plan for those whose treatment requires it.
